There was alot of good things said about outreach at the last meeting that would help get information out to the community. However, I back up what I mentioned about developing a universal fact sheet for each agency to hand out telling the individual if they are eligable for this service then you ARE eligable for this service. Add the name, address and phone number of the agency. Then each family can get all the help they want if they choose.

So what would that fact sheet look like?? Would it include information about fuel assistance, food stamps, public assistance, WIC, hmm I'm trying to list all the services that have income eligibility guidelines and realize that they differ in many ways.. but I'm not writing to shoot down a solution.. just thinking.. how would this form look and how could we make it work?

Not sure exactly how the hand out would look. I think we would need to start out with an average. Say, the eligability for all the programs for a family of four and then the average income level of those families in our community. We would then get a average for people at that income level, and what resources would be avialable to them.
