Capital Campaign – One Community. One Coalition.

“I am so thankful for nbCC. I participated in your youth programs when I was a teenager. Now that I am a parent, you are still just a phone call away if my family needs help.”

A Home for All of Northern Berkshire

For 40 years, Northern Berkshire Community Coalition has served this region from rented, scattered spaces — last year alone reaching over 10,600 people across ten Northern Berkshire towns. In 2023, with an earmark from former Senator Adam Hinds, nbCC purchased 192 State Street in North Adams — and it will become our first permanent home in 40 years. We launched One Community, One Coalition this past June at our 40th Anniversary at GreylockWORKS: a $10 million campaign to make it happen.

What this Building Makes Possible

  • A Community Gathering Space for 200+ — community meetings, celebrations, and revenue from rental opportunities.
  • A Commercial Kitchen that builds careers — skill training, incubating  entrepreneurs, healthy lifestyle education, and community meals.
  • A Youth Zone designed by teens, for teens — a space for self-expression, mentorship, and leadership.
  • The Bike Collective, moved in-house — basic bike repairs, teaching basic skills and building transportation access for neighbors who need it.
  • A Family Resource Center with room to grow — plus shared meeting space for 150+ partner organizations.
